Vietnam Launches Advanced NDAChain Blockchain for Digital Data Infrastructure

Vietnam has officially introduced NDAChain, a permissioned LAYER 1 blockchain platform aimed at securing national data and enhancing digital public services. Developed by the National Data Association and supervised by the Ministry of Public Security, the platform will serve as the primary verification layer for the country's National Data Center.

NDAChain operates on a Proof-of-Authority consensus mechanism with Zero-Knowledge Proofs, ensuring privacy and tamper resistance. The network boasts a transaction processing capacity of 1,200 to 3,600 transactions per second, positioning it as a robust solution for sectors like healthcare, logistics, education, and e-government platforms.

Full integration with Vietnam's National Data Center is expected by the end of 2025. Nguyen Huy, Head of Technology at the National Data Association, describes the platform as a 'protective layer' for Vietnam's digital infrastructure, designed to handle evolving data volumes while ensuring security and interoperability.
